Just like honey from the bee

Van Morrison’s swaying Tupelo Honey was the inspiration for these calm and effortless bridal portraits. Recorded in the Summer of 1971, the gorgeous melody is centralized around a theme of bliss from a life lived in connection with nature and home. Our shoot is a nod to the 70’s with a palette of harvest gold, parchment, cerulean blue and the qualities of warm honey. With respect to the vision of the shoot, the day was one in the same, laid back and temperate with hints of sweet moments. Everything was sourced locally, just as honey should be.
